About the Company and the Role

System-3 is a fast-growing HR-tech start-up based in Toronto, Canada. System-3 enables the accurate identification and assessment of leadership talent through simulation technology and benchmark data, along with leading-edge industrial organizational psychology.

We help organizations to more accurately identify, assess and nurture talent, creating highly effective teams and successful people. We are VC-backed, (Funding from Round13.) and are experiencing meaningful growth. We are currently seeking a Chief of Staff to join our team and help us grow to the next level.

System-3 is at a major inflection point. We are seeing a significant uptick in market adoption & brand awareness and now need to achieve growth to meet expectations.  

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief of Staff will help shape the company’s future direction by working closely with the CEO and executive team to drive key strategic initiatives across the business.

Location: Toronto, ON

The ideal candidate will have

  • Around 5-8 years of experience.
  • Training in strategy/management consulting.
  • Worked in fast paced SaaS technology firm.  
  • Has exposure to start-ups.  
  • Exposure to business in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-functional projects and initiatives that drive the growth and success of the company.
  • Provide the CEO and team leverage and unlock opportunities.
  • Act as a thought partner to the CEO and team for new ideas and initiatives.
  • Attend all of the CEO’s meetings and ensure that all follow ups are completed.
  • Work with the Head of Sales, Head of Customer Success & Head of Research and Product Innovation to facilitate regular executive team rhythm of business including weekly meetings.
  • Ensure the CEO has the full context ahead of all his engagements, including points of discussion, historical context, and intended outcomes.
  • Partner with the team to manage the CEO’s priorities and ensure his time is spent on the highest priority initiatives.
  • Lead the strategic planning process and quarterly reviews of KPI.
  • Support sales, customer success, and product management.

THE CANDIDATE

Education

  • B.Comm./MBA/Law Degree.
