A fast-growing private equity-backed retail company partnered with System-3 to refine its talent selection process for a key executive role.
The assessment process began with the hiring manager and current executive team taking the System-3 Leadership Simulation to establish a corporate benchmark. Subsequently, the company, with System-3’s support selected the “must have competencies” for the role and company. Lastly the five finalist candidates (4 external and 1 internal) were thoroughly assessed, the results informed interviews, reference checks, and final candidate selection.
Candidate Fit to Role: The company was provided with data on the extent to which each candidate aligned with the role’s must-have competencies, as well as fit to hiring manager, corporate culture, and strategy.
